My name is Maja Frykowska. I am the President and the Founder of the "Here I Am" Foundation.
By education, I am a Master of Arts. In 2009, I completed a five-year Master's Degree gaining the title of Dramatic Actress, and thirteen years later I became a graduate of the Lodz Film School (PWSFTViT) gaining the necessary knowledge and practical skills in the area of film production.
My previous professional experience has created my present. That is why today, based on my competencies and knowledge gained in the mass media world, I can bring support to others. And this is the reason why I founded the "Here I Am" Foundation – in addition to the mission to popularize the achievements of the Frykowski Family – to support young artists who are just entering the world of cinematography.
My mission is to support gifted young people, promote them and assist them in the development of their careers; especially those who have not yet been given a chance to present themselves to a wider audience.
I would also love to initiate and inspire all cultural events – pursuing my professional ambitions while fulfilling the dreams of others.
You may ask why I have chosen the cinematography. For obvious reasons! I inherited my love for the art of filmmaking from my Family, in particular from my Grandfather, Wojciech Frykowski, who was Poland's first private film producer. It was he who produced his friend Roman Polanski's etude titled "Mammals." The Frykowskis' name meant a lot in the world of film and artistic elites, and their domain was helping others. Today, I am the one who intends to uphold these family traditions and follow the path once set by my ancestors. Therefore - HERE I AM

mission is to inspire gifted young people, network and empower them
throughout the world. Our aim is to carry out educational and
cultural initiatives, especially in the field of talent fostering,
young people promotion, and assistance in the development of their
career in the area of cinematography, not to forgetting also about
the adults: actors, directors and cinematographers. We strongly
believe that the multidimensional support of the newcomers is
essential for their future
development
and reflects our approach to the contemporary culture. We wish to
open the doors so that each of them can start their professional
adventure, and fulfil their own possibility!

are glad that we are also to present the most valuable phenomena and
trends in Polish and world artistic culture.
Equally
important to us is the commemoration and promotion of the Frykowski
Family's achievement.

grow up to challenge ourselves. She became a pioneer in breaking
taboos and the first celebrity exposed to media heckling, at a time
when there was no social media yet. She found the strength in herself
to become an inspiration to many today. From 2007 to 2012, she
co-created the programmes "Or Magazines" on TELE 5, and
from 2008 to 2010 she was editor-in-chief of the XOXO portal. She
organised cultural events for, among others, TV HBO, CANAL+. She
co-founded the Business Club of the Republic of Poland and wrote for
the magazine "Gentelman". She has always been involved in
charity work.
Her
past has created the present, and with the knowledge and experience
she has gained about the media world, she can be a support to others.
Her path has led to the changes she wrote about in her autobiography
'Overcome Yourself'. Today, she can successfully say that she is
proud of who she has become.

representing entrepreneurs. From 2007 to 2011 she was a jury member
in the National Documentary Forms Review "BAZAR". She is
co-founder of the “Trustworthy Employer” competition.

cybersecurity). He has held top management positions in multinational
corporations and listed companies. Associated with HBO Poland for
over a decade in the following roles: managing director, sales and
marketing manager, business development director. He also held the
position of managing director at PayTV, director at Sony Pictures
Entertainment and president at YieldPlanet.
He
pioneered public-private partnerships in Poland, establishing the
first investment fund in Poland specialising in the management and
financing of municipal PPP projects. He also contributed to the
development of key municipal PPP projects supporting local
governments in Poland and other countries (Ukraine, Croatia, Turkey,
Sri Lanka, Maldives).

grow up to challenge ourselves. She became a pioneer in breaking
taboos and the first celebrity exposed to media heckling, at a time
when there was no social media yet. She found the strength in herself
to become an inspiration to many today. From 2007 to 2012, she
co-created the programmes "Or Magazines" on TELE 5, and
from 2008 to 2010 she was editor-in-chief of the XOXO portal. She
organised cultural events for, among others, TV HBO, CANAL+. She
co-founded the Business Club of the Republic of Poland and wrote for
the magazine "Gentelman". She has always been involved in
charity work.
Her
past has created the present, and with the knowledge and experience
she has gained about the media world, she can be a support to others.
Her path has led to the changes she wrote about in her autobiography
'Overcome Yourself'. Today, she can successfully say that she is
proud of who she has become.

For many years she was associated with the National Chamber of
Commerce, and still collaborates on the publication of the quarterly
“ESG Report”. Natalia was awarded by Gazeta Finansowa in the
category of “The Press Secreatary” – for organization
representing entrepreneurs. From 2007 to 2011 she was a jury member
in the National Documentary Forms Review "BAZAR". She is
co-founder of the “Trustworthy Employer” competition.

corporations and listed companies. Associated with HBO Poland for
over a decade in the following roles: managing director, sales and
marketing manager, business development director. He also held the
position of managing director at PayTV, director at Sony Pictures
Entertainment and president at YieldPlanet.
He
pioneered public-private partnerships in Poland, establishing the
first investment fund in Poland specialising in the management and
financing of municipal PPP projects. He also contributed to the
development of key municipal PPP projects supporting local
governments in Poland and other countries (Ukraine, Croatia, Turkey,
Sri Lanka, Maldives).

Moim celem jest działalność kulturalno-edukacyjna, szczególnie w zakresie wspierania talentów, ich promocji oraz wszechstronna pomoc w rozwoju kariery zarówno uzdolnionych pasjonatów, jak i aktorów, reżyserów i operatorów. Wszystkich tych, którzy nie dostali jeszcze szansy zaprezentowania siebie szerszej publiczności. Moim celem jest także inicjowanie i inspirowanie wszelkich wydarzeń kulturalnych – realizowanie własnychambicji przy okazji spełniając marzenia innych. A dlaczego właśnie film? Temat ten z oczywistych względów jest mi bliski. Miłość do sztuki filmowej odziedziczyłam po rodzinie Frykowskich, a w szczególności po moim dziadku, Wojciechu Frykowskim, który był pierwszym w Polsce prywatnym producentem filmowym. To właśnie on wyprodukował etiudę swojego przyjaciela Romana Polańskiego pt. „Ssaki”. Nazwisko Frykowskich wiele znaczyło w świecie filmowych i artystycznych elit, a ich domeną było pomaganie innym. Dzisiaj to ja zamierzam podtrzymywać te tradycje rodzinne i podążać wyznaczoną niegdyś przez moich przodków drogą. Dlatego – HERE I AM.
